Enjoying a snowy day in NYC, Rachel McAdams ignores the cold and takes a city stroll with a male pal on December 19. After the whirlwind London and NYC premieres of Sherlock Holmes, Rach deserved a little break and took a trip to the McNally Jackson Bookstore to indulge in some new literary picks. At her side was Ben Jackson, Jude Law’s personal assistant, whom she presumably met on set while filming their epic new flick. Wonder if love is in the air for Ms. McAdams this holiday season? For their afternoon outing Rachel bundled up in a military inspired coat (try Suzabelle’s cozy plaid pick Windsor Trench in Cocoa/Crème) with a coordinating paisley scarf (love the print on A Graves’ Crescent Print in Merino Wool) and dark straight legs (True Religion’s Billy Road Trip in Army are a great compliment to the coat). Rachel wore her fav black peeptoe boots (love the fringed detail on Gwyneth Shoes’ Langston Ankle Boot in Black) and carried a slouchy black hobo (just like Julie K’s Alice Oblong Hobo in Black Glaze). Don’t know how her tootsies stay warm even with socks on, but I’m slightly obsessed with her black studded leather gloves. Definitely need to get myself a pair! While all of you are enjoying the holidays, be sure to check out Rachel’s new flick Sherlock Holmes, out on Christmas Day in theatres. The revamped pictorial of everyone’s favorite sleuth is getting great reviews on rottentomatoes.com, leaving me with the feeling it’s definitely worth the $10 ticket price!
