Olivia Wilde has had so many amazing style moments this week I couldn’t choose between them! The House hottie arrived at the DIC/InStyle Diamond Fashion Show Preview in Beverly Hills on January 14, looking very sophisticated in a two toned Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 frock. This is a refreshing change to the foxy mini she wore to the FOX Winter All Star Party just a few nights earlier, and it’s great to see a young star exploring styling options without seeming obvious. At first glance it appears she’s wear a taupe soutache skirt with a crinkly white blouse (a look you can create with Tracy Reese’s Pegged Skirt in Vanilla and Camel and a casual white top like Graham and Spencer’s Gauze Top in White), but the two were shown as one piece on the runway. Loving the contrasting textures, although I have to admit the style dwarfs her a little – not exactly the most flattering thing shapes, but the buttery color combination is great. O completed her look with Jimmy Choo Nova boa print peep-toes (love Samanta’s Viv Snake Heel in Navy) and a matching python clutch (try Inge Christopher’s sassy Marie Metallic Boa Clutch in Gold with a femme rosette detail on the flap). What do you think of Olivia’s fashion show ‘fit – could she have made it a little more exciting or do you like the mature vibe? As previously mentioned, O is passionately involved in helping to raise funds and awareness in the wake of the recent tragedy in Haiti, and has been continuing to Tweet updates to fans about the situation to encourage donations. Even for a celebrity like Olivia, the severity of the situation is widespread: “[W]ent to sleep worried sick about our friends we have not heard from. [P]lease please keep encouraging your friends to donate for Haiti relief.” I hope Olivia’s friends – and all of you readers – are safe and sound!
