Fall TV is almost baaaaack! What day better to celebrate the return of all our fave shows than 9.02.10? (Did you notice the date today?) All joking aside, from Gossip Girl to the CW’s remake of the 90’s staple Beverly Hills, 90210, there’s so much to take in on the tube and we love it. Looking for some style inspiration? The fall arrivals are in full flush, which means she who shops first, gets her size in the best pieces. But what are the things—in addition to the Fair Isle sweaters, wool dresses, and leather jackets—that will round out an autumn wardrobe? Shopbop Fashion Director Kate Ciepluch shares her top five.

1. Signature Coat
Coats are a big story this season, and this dressed-up military offering from Loeffler Randall is one of the coolest coats we saw in market.

2. Haircalf Clutch
I have fallen hard for fall’s haircalf accessories. Lauren Merkin’s clutch is a cool take on ladylike, in a color that pops.

3. Maxi Done Casual
A maxi skirt or dress worn in a casual way is something we are really feeling this season. Pair this Geren Ford skirt with a slouchy tee and flats.

4. Slouchy Boots
Meet Becca Moon, relaxed LA style that epitomizes effortless cool. This boot is perfectly slouchy, and I love the brown/black combo.

5. Wear Forever Cape
Capes are always chic. The warm hues and chevron stripes on this Leyendecker style caught my eye immediately.

Loving all the neutral and army green tones..! Definitely the piece to have that will take you from August’s chili nights to fall season is a green military-influenced jacket! That first picture of green with green with the Ray-ban sunglasses I think is super chic!! And even thought it would not have been my first choice love the white pants and green jacket!

When wearing a military trend item I like to always add a soft, feminine touch… to create a hard & soft balance!! I really have fun with this trend!

It’s that time of the year when we need to start putting away the colorful and bright pillows, the baskets & hats, some sea shells vignettes and start thinking in introducing some warm fall details…! And with all the fur trend going around in the fashion world, I am thinking that I might just incorporate it in my house… to bring that warmth, lusciousness and comfy vibe to the decor!!
