Nolita’s family of stylish boutiques like Tory Burch and Resurrection just welcomed a new neighbor this month. Accessory brand Botkier opened the doors of its first flagship store at 246 Mott Street, offering variations on the classic “Trigger” bag along with the latest collection of snake lambskin hobos and satchels. Creative director Monica Botkier envisioned a plush atmosphere for her shoppers—Renaissance inspired ceilings mixed with a palette of warm grays, copper infused purples, and metallic gold wallpaper—with the help of French-born NYC-based designer and interior decorator Valerie Pasquiou. Also new to the brand, a collection of washed python satchels in painted gold and chocolate brown, exclusive to the Manhattan store. These styles are one-of-a-kind so we recommend stopping by ASAP.
