Knock Out Nail Shades at DKNY
Beauty Tips | lulus | February 15, 2010Not just one but four colors of nail polish were used at the DKNY show. Knock Out Cosmetics showed three of their existing shades (Pool, Concrete, and Plaster) as well as the yet-to-be released shade Sher. Founder Mike Potter tweaked two of the polishes to better complement the DKNY fabric palette, making Pool less icy teal and more blue, and modifying Sher (as in sherbet) to be less orange and more peach than the original formula, due out in six weeks. Plaster (shown below) was one of the backstage favorites (a smitten photographer even asked for her own bottle), and Potter cites a Band-Aid as his inspiration for the shade.
